For reasons that were never explained to me, Facebook disabled this plugin. An unknown side-effect (to me, at least) was that this also disables all photos associated with the plugin. This is very troubling to me. All old photos should be reactivated now.

I will hopefully begin updating the plugin soon.

A new version is finally here! This is completely rewritten from scratch and comes with a load of fixes. A few things to note:

The name mapping feature is missing. I don’t really plan to bring it back until Aperture opens up its face recognition API

There is a bug with Aperture 3 about the export size which can affect uploading to Facebook. More info. (I know the last comment mentions it’s fixed but I can still replicate this bug in 3.0.3)

This has been a long time in the making. Apologies to the people that emailed me with plug-in errors. There are major changes to this version. The biggest change is the switch to the newest version of MKAbeFook. New features include:

Default album name is the taken from the name of the project

Saving tag data*

*This “works” but to get the data to load, you need to do something not intuitive:

Select the photos you want to upload (I usually add ‘Facebook’ to the Action Advised tag in IPTC, then select all)

Click on the first image

Using the arrow keys, cycle through all the photos

Now, open Facebook Export. Tag data should all be there.

If anyone knows why this is, please send me an email. Any comments, suggestions, and / or bug reports are welcomed
